    Mozart’s Laudate Dominum

    Mozart’s Laudate Dominum
performed by two world class sopranos
    Emma Kirkby: Mozart’s Laudate Dominum

    Lucia Popp: Laudate Dominum (Mozart)

I heard this on the radio this morning, and was alarmed to see that i hadn’t already posted it here. Emma Kirkby is a favourite of mine, but Lucia Popp is a revalation. I think the chorus go [...]

    a quote from Eileen Caddy
Never be afraid to tread the path alone.

garden seat – project for carpenter

garden seat – project for carpenter?

    Sea Pool – June 2008

    Sea Pool – June 2008
For the record, 8th June 2008 in Bude, Cornwall, UK was perfect. It was sunny all day, the breeze was gentle, but off the sea, keeping away pollen and such. I still hadn’t bought a new wetsuit, but I will today – barring major accidents …

    American Water Snake

    Mary, the American Water Snake

Mary the water snake has moved in to the little goldfish pond. Quite harmless but still gives me the creeps when she shoots out from somewhere near me. She had a large toad for lunch the other day. Don’t know how she got her mouth around it.
