    Clear stream on Bodmin Moor

    Clear stream at Roughtor

The stream below the tor at Roughtor, North Cornwall.

This flows from Crowdy reservoir – pic to follow …

Rough Tor is a favourite area for country walks:
This walk could be described as the ascent of Cornwall’s “Twin Peaks”, and although that may sound a little daunting, provided you pick the right day, take your time and take plenty of provisions then you will have a glorious day standing on top of the highest points in Cornwall.

There are many churches in this area that appear to be of the same era – Norman, apparently. The church at Poughill has particularly fine religious art inside.

    institute for advanced lying

Mr and Mrs Money enjoy the tea break at their first class at The Institute for Advanced Lying. Today’s class is The Application of Evil in Sound Investment Strategy.

The tea break was weird: All the newbies were hoping to discuss their ‘making money without grafting’ schemes and making new friends/business partners, yet all the discussions were side-tracked by the astonishing discovery that every student suffered from haemorrhoids.

‘I wondered why you’d brought a cushion!’ exclaimed Lady Loot.
‘You prefer the inner tube?’ said Mrs Money.
‘I do!’ she replied. ‘It’s so much easier to carry around!’

‘Have you heard?’ interrupted Mr. Money, ‘The Institute have just appointed Dr. Wilfred Dickinson Shakespeare Shelley Toilet as Emeritus Professor of Plagiarism!’

‘Wilfred Toilet!? Not THE Wilfred Toilet?’
    ‘One and the same!’
    ‘What a coup!’

Here’s a new abstract paintingacrylic paints injected into white emulsion! The emulsion was so thick that the end product has topography; it could even be a mountain range.

It used rather a lot of emulsion to generate the thickness (when dry) but I enjoyed the experiment.
