Belief

There's 95 religions, 96 of them know this,

'The others are all damned, but for me eternal bliss.'

The child approaches the sea, eyes wide.

The architects of power know 'the ends condone the means.

After this "last" holy war the survivors will agree.'

The child enters the wood, mouth open.

There's so much knowing going on that I'm afraid we'll sink.

The child is wiser, I believe. That's what I know, I think.

The adult enters the day; mind-set.

There's 95 religions, 96 of them know this,

'The others are all damned, but for me eternal bliss.'

The child approaches the sea, eyes wide.
