Community Values

An election is due, 'Family Values,' (John Major)
Before bedding another, was it two years or greater?
Then 'I didn't love her. My greatest regret'
His absence of love makes it better? You bet

Jonathan Aitken, the pride of the Right
Chin raised like a martyr to fight the good fight
'My God given task - take the Press to the slaughter
Oh, come and meet Perjury, my asset, my daughter'

We need food and shelter (we've two kids) need it now
But capital's moving, don't know why, don't know how
Let's try Silicon Valley, there's jobs to be had
I'll work on designing a meaningless fad

Parliament, progress, property and provenance
A spin-off of profit? Your system's unsound
(I only dare whisper, or the FTSE might fall
You're meant to serve people, not the other way around)
