Poems and Songs
After a while, the vague and disorganised one felt the urge to write a song or two, too. There weren't any classes called 'How to write a song or two, too' In North Cornwall, but there was, and still is, a poetry class.
the vague and disorganised one phoned Helen the Poet(ess) and said, 'I dunno what a poem is, but I wanna write a song. Can I come along, please?'
'Sho' 't'ing,' quoth Helen. 'Provided you learn to speak proper.' So he did (went along, that is).
Consequently, the vague and disorganised one eventually perpetrated a poem, by accident, and they seem vastly more popular than the incomparably magnificent first novel. Which just goes to show . . .
The consistent themes of the poems are freedom, consciousness, meaning and taking the pee.
